| Slovakia wants to trade with Latin America |

| Slovakia welcomes all three main topics to be discussed at the EU-CELAC summit in Brussels on Monday and Tuesday. Prime Minister Ludovit Odor noted that the negotiations are focused on ecological transformation. He also noted that it is essential that not only the EU, but all other parts of the world, act in an environmentally responsible way. According to Odor, the second major issue is the geopolitical situation and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. According to Odor, both the EU and CELAC are making efforts to achieve peace in the region.Last but not least, the summit will also address economic relations between the EU and CELAC. As the Prime Minister said, a number of important raw materials and commodities are located in Latin America. Bratislava is particularly interested in those CELAC countries with larger markets that import cars made in Slovakia. As far as software and innovative solutions are concerned, this is mainly Argentina. Slovaks also want to maintain good contacts with countries such as Costa Rica, Uruguay and Chile, the prime minister added.
