European digital innovation centers will be established in Slovakia
Bratislava, 18.08.2023
European centers of digital innovation (ECDI) will be established in Slovakia, which will provide companies with services to support the introduction of new technologies and innovations. This is one of the milestones of the third request for payment within the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic. The first advance payments for the centers should be paid to successful consortia by the end of August.TASR was informed about this on Thursday by the head of the press department of the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization (MIRRI) of the Slovak Republic, Andrej Ďuríček. After an expert assessment, the European Commission (EC) selected five Slovak consortia, four of which received financial support in the amount of 50% of the total eligible expenses. These include the Edih Cassovium centers in Košice, the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA), Hopero and the Center for Innovative Health with headquarters in Bratislava. One consortium was awarded a mark of excellence without financial support, namely the Slovak Center for Digital Innovations (SCDI), which is also located in the capital. odkaz na stránku
