| On the day of the signing, industry leaders presented the Antwerp Declaration for a European Industrial Agreement to Belgian Prime Minister Alexandre De Cro and EC President Ursula von der Leyen.the signatories signed a declaration on competitiveness under the auspices of the Belgian presidency of the EU Council in Antwerp. It is a challenge for the governments of the member states and also for the future European Commission (EC). It has ten points necessary to achieve the competitiveness of European industry. At the same time, they are a preparation for the European Industrial Agreement, which would complement the EU Green Agreement.
