| Moody's confirms A1 credit rating |

| On 17 May 2011 Moody's Investors Service, an international rating agency, confirmed Slovakia's A1 credit rating in domestic and foreign currency. The rating outlook remains stable. The confirmation of the rating reflects that the country's new government, which took over in July 2010, plans to introduce fiscal consolidation measures, including a 10% cut in expenses on wages in 2011. Other measures will include higher efficiency of public sector expenditure, freezing of investments and restrictions on over-spending during tenders for services and goods. Stable outlook also reflects improved perspective of the country's economy and that good foreign demand will support economic growth. The agency forecasts for Slovakia a 3.7% GDP growth by 2012, which should be one of the highest in the eurozone.
