| Slovakia may soon lose its status as the state with the best economic results within Central Europe if its new government drops policies that secured the local economy the fastest growth in the region, according to the International Monetary Fund’s Susan Schadler.
However, the financial markets are calm as far as the outlooks of a new government in Slovakia are concerned following the June 17 elections. The markets are sure that Slovakia will continue to be attractive for foreign investors and that a lack of reforms might slow down the growth pace to some extent rather than stop it.
