| The European Commission at the "Korea Food Expo" 2011 |

| The European Commission's Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development will be present at the "Korea Food Expo" in Seoul, 9-12 November 2011.
26 producers and producer associations from the meat, dairy, wine as well as fruit and vegetables sectors representing 16 Member States will showcase their products at the Commission's stand to present them to Korean business people as well as to consumers.
The initiative is part of the "Tastes of Europe" campaign carried out by the EC in South Korea this fall, which comprises a media campaign and sponsorship of European cultural events.
On 8 November 2011, a seminar for Korean importers and retailers will be organised focusing on opportunities of selling European products with regard to the recent entry into force of the EU-Korea free trade agreement.
