| Quattara Headed The Parliameny |
| Yamoussoukro, 16.12.2011 |
 |
| Alassane Quattara who won 123 out of 225 seats in the election headed the parliamentary mass today, while Ivory Coast Democratic Party took 93, leaving 12 for the independents.
He was “the big winner” and “new master” as newspapers reported.
The election for the first legislative was boycotted by Gbagbo's Ivorian Popular Front (FPI).
Ivory Coast gets into bloody mess when Gbagbo reject the results of the election process in 2010 lead to 3000 dead.
In spite of the low turnouts the election process was fair and free. This process spots the light on democracy and rebuilding the country.
