| EU budget pact will not be revised: Merkel |

| The EU leaders will not be reviewing the EU Stability Pact despite any French proposals, Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters.
Earlier, the leading French presidential candidate François Hollande proposed to review the Pact if he is elected criticizing it for the austerity measures which, he believes, hurdle the EU growth.
The Pact was signed in early March to resolve the eurozone debt crisis.
