| Praha, 3rd October 2006 - Delta Pekárny Corporation strengthened ist position on bakery market in Slovakia by purchase of three industrial bakeries in Žilina, Bratislava and Levica. Until now has supplied local market from plants in Bratislava-Petržalka, Komárno, Hliník nad Hronom and Košice.
„New strategic acquisition will help us to optimize production and trade and will support consolidation of our position on Slovakian market. Our goal is to improve servis for Slovakian customers,“ stated Mr. Marko Pařík, Managing Director of Ramill Company, which is managing activities of Delta Pekárny and Odkolek groups in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary.
Delta brand entered to the Slovakian market in 1997 and permanently strengthen its market position by way of the top products quality and servis. Delta Pekárny are now among the most significant bakery subjects in Slovakia. Last year recorded in Slovakia turnover of SKK 1,012 billion.
