| The business sector will also be entitled to apply for financial assistance from the eurofunds, said construction minister Marian Janusek. The previous government excluded the private sector from the direct use of EU funds. The minister said that the proposed operational programs should support the competitiveness of companies mainly through support for research and development and innovations, as well as infrastructure for the business sector, sup-port for start-ups and innovative firms. Also supported will be entities providing welfare services, employment and social services, as well as educational institutions, entities active in water and waste management, IT, tourism, and culture |
