| Edible oil and fats producer Palma-Tumys j.s.c. Bratislava will probably go to the hands of Slovak investment group Slavia Capital. The latter beat the offer of the competing Czech agrochemical giant Agrofert, which is owned by Slovak businessman Andrej Babis. Agrofert allegedly offered Sk 1.1bn to Palma-Tumys shareholders, while Slavia’s bid was around Sk 1.8bn. Babis confirmed that Palma-Tumys turned his bid down. |
