| The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic Mr. Ján Kubiš had a discussion with the Senior Minister of the Government of the Republic of Singapore Mr. Goh Chok Tong today. Both the influential Singapore politician and the Slovak Minister spoke about topical international and regional issues emphasizing the development of economic cooperation including the presentation of Slovak business and capital environment. During the first day of his two-day working visit in Slovakia the former Prime Minister of Singapore was received by the President of the Slovak Republic Mr. Ivan Gašparovič and the Vice-President of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Mrs. Anna Belousovová. Minister Goh also met with Slovak ministers of Economy, Finance, Transport and Telecommunications. Minister Goh addressed several Slovak entrepreneurs and representatives of the Slovak business community with a lecture on sustainable development.
