| State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Igor Slobodník opened the sixth Slovak-Czech discussion forum in Košariská today (5 November). The event, prepared on behalf of Slovakia by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Foreign Policy Association (SFPA), represents a regular informal platform for joint discussion on selected foreign policy issues. The main topics for the event, with state administration and non-governmental sector experts in attendance, will be relations with the Russian Federation and migration issues this year.
On the sidelines of the forum, State Secretary of the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry Igor Slobodník and Political Secretary of the Czech Foreign Affairs Ministry Petr Drulák together laid a wreath to the Monument of the General Milan Rastislav Štefánik on Bradlo Hill and commemorated the 135th anniversary of the birth of this personage, one of the most important in the new history of both countries.
