| “The robust trade-and-commerce cooperation with the Republic of Korea is also extending to further areas, including a vibrant political dialogue, cooperation in tourism, cultural relations and education,” said State Secretary Igor Slobodník today (1 December) when he received new Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in the Slovak Republic Lee Taero on the occasion of presenting copies of his credentials.
They stated that the political dialogue has intensified in recent years. Both countries share the same values and close opinions with regard to international issues. The State Secretary highlighted the interest of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, as well as that of universities, in cooperating in science, research and innovation. The Republic of Korea is the most important non-European investor in Slovakia and also one of the countries investing the most in innovations throughout the world. MZV |
