Slovak exporters get new tool to help find prospective customers |
Bratislava, 20.02.2016 |
 |
A new information tool for finding exporting opportunities for Slovak exporters was presented by Miroslav Lajčák, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, at the meeting of the Council of the Government of SR for Export and Investment Support on 17 February 2016. “Slovak economic diplomats have combined a scientific analysis of the comparative advantages of Slovak export-oriented products with a practical survey of the growing demand for these products in various countries of the world and produced a useful overview of potential export opportunities for businesses and the professional public. In this way we wish to assist Slovak businesses, especially small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises, to identify the international markets to which they can export their products and be competitive,” explained Minister Lajčák.
A document titled “Evaluation of prospective export commodities in various world territories” is available at the central web portal: export.slovensko.sk. Currently an interactive version is being prepared that will allow businesses to easily find the countries with prospective markets for their products. This new tool complements a wide array of information and services offered by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic to businesses via its Business Centre department.
