State Secretary Parízek receives the Ambassador of Sudan
Bratislava, 06.04.2016
The opportunities for future cooperation between Slovakia and Sudan were discussed today (4 April 2016) by Lukáš Parízek, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, and Mohamed Hussein Zaroug, designated Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Slovakia, resident in Vienna, on the occasion of presentation of copies of his credentials. State Secretary Parízek appreciated the good standard of bilateral relations and pointed out Slovakia’s interest in their further development, with emphasis on the economic area. “Our potential is larger than what has been used up until now. I believe the completion of the revision of bilateral agreements between our countries will become a founding block for our future cooperation,” said Parízek. Both partners identified especially agriculture, development projects and peacebuilding as areas for possible future cooperation. During the discussion the partners exchanged their positions concerning timely regional and global issues. The core topic of this part of the discussion was migration. Ambassador Zaroug conveyed to State Secretary Parízek Sudan’s determination to contribute to addressing this complex issue also in cooperation with the European Union. odkaz na stránku
