30 foreigners without residence permit, banished after police check

13 foreigners without a Slovak residence permit came from Serbia, 11 from the Ukraine, three from Bosnia Herzegovina, two from Armenia and one from Turkey. Slovak Police carried out an inspection of foreigners who were residing illegally in the territory of Slovakia. The inspection resulted in the administrative banishment of 30 foreigners from the country, the Sme daily reported. Police officers checked such places as accommodation facilities, buildings, public spaces, but also trains, buses, stations, cars and trucks, according to Police Corps spokesperson Denisa Baloghová. They found foreigners without a residence permit in Bratislava, Voderady and Galanta (Trnava Region), Tvrdomestice, Šala and Nové Zámky (Nitra Region) and Žilina. “13 of them came from Serbia, 11 from the Ukraine, three are nationals of Bosnia Herzegovina, two are from Armenia and one from Turkey,” said Baloghová, as quoted by Sme. odkaz na stránku
