| Parízek with US Ambassador to Slovakia on current international issues |

| State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Lukáš Parízek received today (20 July) Ambassador of the United States of America to Slovakia Adam Sterling at the USA’s request. They discussed current international foreign policy affairs. They also talked about current developments on the Korean peninsula and the ongoing provocations by the DPRK. Both parties condemned this dangerous policy of the North Korean regime and called upon the DPRK to strictly adhere to all its international commitments ensuing from the relevant UN Security Council resolutions – stopping the activities related to the ballistic and nuclear program. “It’s important to actively search for peaceful solutions on the Korean peninsula but it is also necessary to condemn each and every act by the DPRK violating international commitments,” stated State Secretary Parízek.
