| Designated Ambassador of Serbia presents copies of his credentials to State Secretary Parízek |

| Lukáš Parízek, State Secretary of the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry, received Momčil Babić, designated Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Slovak Republic today (2 May). Parízek expressed the conviction that the problem-free, constructive and flexible cooperation between the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to the Slovak Republic will continue.
They both appreciated the long-term good bilateral relations based on friendship and mutual trust. They agreed that the area is still lagging behind its potential is economic cooperation.
Designated Ambassador Babić thanked the State Secretary for Slovakia´s support in Serbia’s reform and European integration process as well as on the Kosovo issue. They also mentioned the recently published (17 April) European Commission Progress Report regarding Serbia´s progress within the integration process. In this regard State Secretary Parízek assured his partner that “Slovakia will continue in its versatile support for the Republic of Serbia on its road to the EU”.
