Economic freedom in Slovakia worsens slightly

The country still struggles with corruption and a weak judicial system. Economic freedom in Slovakia has worsened slightly. The country ranked 65th of 180 countries surveyed in the latest Index of Economic Freedom (IEF), published by The Heritage Foundation. It scored 65 points, which is 0.3 points less than last year. The country struggles with regulatory efficiency and the rule of law. "The Slovak Republic is still affected by widespread corruption and a judicial system that remains weak, inefficient, and vulnerable to political interference," reads the IEF. odkaz na stránku
