| The Government Council for Compatriot Issues Discusses Specific Projects Abroad |

| On 21 May 2019, the 6th meeting of the Government Council for Compatriot Issues (RVKO) was held at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. The meeting was led by the MZVEZ State Secretary Lukáš Parízek. The RVKO meeting was attended by Vladimír Skalský, Chairman of the World Association of Slovaks Living Abroad. The RVKO discussed the status of support of compatriot activities in 2019 and the situation regarding the issuing of certificates for Slovak nationals living abroad. The meeting also focused on the support of possible investment projects of compatriots, particularly in Hungary, Serbia and Slovakia.
Lukáš Parízek stated with pleasure that funds for the support of compatriot projects has been increased in the areas of education, spiritual and secular culture, and publishing activities.
