| MZVEZ SR Announces Public Procurement for Technical and Organisational Arrangements for December OSCE Ministerial Council in Slovakia |

| On 2-6 December 2019, the 26th Ministerial Council of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe will take place in Slovakia, which has been chairing the organisation since January. The Ministerial Council of the OSCE is a meeting of the 57 participating states and 11 partner countries at the level of foreign affairs ministers. The number of delegates expected is about 1200. With regard to the organisational arrangements of the event, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic has prepared public procurement, referred to as “Logistical and Administrative Aspects related to the OSCE Ministerial Council 2019.” The Contract Notice was published on 5 June 2019 in the Journal of the EU. The estimated total value of the contract was set at 3,947,193.67 EUR, VAT not included. This means that it is an over-the-limit contract for the provision of service. The source of financing of the contract title is funds from the MZVEZ budget. The deadline for submitting bids is 8 July 2019 at 10:00 am. The criterion for the evaluations of bids will be the lowest price. An electronic auction will be conducted. The OSCE Ministerial Council meets in December, in the country which holds the chairmanship. In 2018, at the end of the Italian OSCE Chairmanship, the Ministerial Council was held in Milan, and the year before that it took place in Hofburg, Vienna. For Slovakia, it is an unprecedented meeting since it is the biggest of its kind with regard to scale in our modern history.
