| France, Germany rejects the cryptomens |

| Facebook announced big plans to revolutionize payments in Europe by introducing a virtual currency.
However, the EU finance ministers see the pound as a risk to monetary stability.
Together, France and Germany rejected the planned introduction of the Libra cryptomene on Friday, calling it a threat to a stable EU economy.
The virtual currency could undermine the “monetary sovereignty” of states in the bloc and pose risks to consumers and undermine financial stability in Europe, said French finance minister Bruno le Maire and his German counterpart Olaf Scholz.
