| Development of core and net inflation in August 2019 |

| In August 2019, year-on-year inflation rate reached 2,8 % in total. Core inflation reached 2,4 % and net inflation 1,6 %.
In August 2019 compared with July 2019, core inflation affected the total inflation by 0,12 percentage points (p.p.), regulated prices affected the total inflation by 0,09 p.p., indirect taxes did not affect the total inflation. Core inflation was not affected by food prices, net inflation had an influence on core inflation by 0,12 p.p.. Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic
