| The Council of the Government for Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations is a permanent expert, advisory, coordination and consultation body of the Government of the Slovak Republic. Founded in 2012, it focuses on the development of the civil society in Slovakia. At its 22nd session today (22 June 2020), the Chairman of the Government Council, the Minister of Interior of the Slovak Republic Roman Mikulec, introduced new members.
The talks revolved around the contribution of non-governmental non-profit organizations to manage the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This was done in the form of an analysis and the proposal of measures. The discussion also focused on working out the Manifesto of the Government of the Slovak Republic from the point of civil society and open government issues.
