| On Thursday (8 October 2020), the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Korčok, met with the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, who arrived in Bratislava for an official visit to the Slovak Republic, linked to his participation in the GLOBSEC conference. The partners discussed bilateral issues, the current situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and other current topics, including migration.
Minister Korčok stated that Slovakia is motivated to intensify relations with Greece, mentioning our successful cooperation in the field of science and research: The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra and the Greek University of Thessaly have become leaders in the Innovation of Regional Sustainability Alliance: European University Alliance - INVEST.
