| State Secretary of the Diplomacy Ministry Ingrid Brocková at the Ministerial Meeting of the UN Group of Friends of Mediation in New York: Mediation helps to save lives and reduce suffering “Mediation and conflict prevention remain key tools for maintaining peace,” stated the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic I. Brocková during the 11th ministerial session of the UN Group of Friends of Mediation in New York on Wednesday, 2 February 2022. The UN Group of Friends of Mediation in New York supports the use of mediation in peaceful conflict resolution, conflict prevention and creates support for the future development of mediation. Slovakia has been a member since 2016.
