State budget deficit to grow due to inflation and energy crisis
Prag, 26.07.2022
State spending in 2022 is expected to increase by more than 110 billion crowns compared to the original budget approved in March of this year. The deficit for the 2022 state budget should grow to 326.9 billion crowns, Finance Minister Zbynìk Stanjura told Czech Television on Monday. The increase is due to the extra finances spent on pension hikes to make up for inflation, on energy saving tariffs and on coping with the refugee crisis. The amendment does not foresee any tax increases. The cabinet will discuss the proposed amendment on Wednesday. odkaz na stránku
