| Poll: Babiš would win president election first round but Pavel narrowing gap |

| Former Czech prime minister Andrej Babiš would take the most votes in the first round of voting for a new president next January, suggests a new Median poll. The ANO leader, who has not yet declared, would receive 25.5 percent of the vote, the survey indicates, ahead of former Czech Army officer and NATO official Petr Pavel with 21 percent.
A poll by Median at the start of June gave Mr. Babiš a nine-point lead over Mr. Pavel.
The new survey puts unions chief Josef Středula in third in the first round, with 7.5 percent.
Only the first two candidates from the first round make into the second round run-off.odkaz na stránku
