| Slovak Police will take over the presidency of the EnviCrimeNet network |

| From next year, the police will take over the presidency of EnviCrimeNet, an international network of specialists in detecting, documenting and investigating environmental crime. TASR was informed about this by the spokeswoman of the Presidium of the Police Corps (PZ) Denisa Bárdyová. Director of the Department for the Detection of Hazardous Materials and Environmental Crime of the National Special Crime Headquarters of the Police Presidium Mário Kern said that this is a significant international success of the Slovak police. One of the projects implemented by the EnviCrimeNet network is Life+ Satec, which aims to streamline international cooperation in the fight against environmental crime at a strategic level.
