| The Constitutional Court approved the law on the lease of agricultural land |

| On Wednesday, the Constitutional Court (ÚS) of the Slovak Republic did not comply with the proposal of a group of deputies of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic, which requested to declare as unconstitutional a part of the law on the lease of agricultural land.In the submission from 2018, the deputies objected to the unbalanced legal position between the lessor and lessee of the agricultural land.The amendment of the law, which was supposed to mean a shift to increased protection of property rights, took place in 2021.At the same time, the ÚS did not comply with the proposal of a group of deputies to declare a contradiction with the constitution in the part of the law on unreasonable conditions in the grocery store.In most of the provisions challenged in 2019, the court stopped the proceedings.
Parliament also amended this law in 2021.
