| The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MPRV) of the Slovak Republic would like to tighten the rules for the occupation of agricultural land and for photovoltaics.This was stated by the temporarily appointed Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, Samuel Vlčan."In the future, we would like to tighten any rules for the occupation of the agricultural land fund. In my opinion, it would be reasonable to talk about a multiple increase in the fee (levy) for the occupation of the land fund," he clarified."You need to know that (for photovoltaic power plants, note TASR) this is only a temporary acquisition of land, which is granted for ten years. From 2021, it can be extended for another period, but at most for the period as long as the connection to the grid is valid for preferential rate," he noted.Vlčan added that the relevant legislation lays down the rules for the removal of photovoltaic panels after the end of the temporary land acquisition and also lays down the obligation to recultivate the territory.
