| Car registration fees will be calculated in a new way from July |

| Fees for transferring a car to a new owner will be calculated in a new way from the middle of this year.This follows from the amendment to the Act on Administrative Fees, which was finally approved by the members of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic on Wednesday.
At the last minute, they changed the fee adjustment, which was supposed to apply from April.According to the original proposal of the amendment, the administrative fee for the transfer of the owner of a motor vehicle of category M1 and N1, if his registration number does not change, was to be reduced by 70%.However, the deputies presented several amending proposals with different scope and form of adjustment of fees.
In the end, the proposal of SaS deputy Marián Viskupič passed in the vote.The amendment will be effective from July 1 of this year.
