| New trade body will help firms succeed in Saudi Arabia |

| Following the government’s approval of cooperation between Bratislava and Riyadh last week, the Saudi-Slovak Chamber of Commerce has started operations.
Economy Minister Denisa Saková (Hlas) described Saudi Arabia as an “attractive region” for Slovak businesses and a “strategic partner” for the country, the TASR news agency writes.
The objective of this chamber is to promote the development of mutual Saudi-Slovak relations, and trade exchanges between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Slovakia.
"There are immense opportunities for Slovak companies in Saudi Arabia," said chamber head Peter Blaskovits.
In addition to the promotion of mutual economic relations, the minister hopes Slovakia will benefit from the exchange of knowledge and experience.
“Saudi Arabia is known for its technological and innovative projects,” the minister concluded.
The chamber was established in early 2024.
