| Expenditure on agriculture will fall to EUR 999 million next year |

| Total expenditure for agriculture is budgeted for 2025 in the amount of EUR 999 million. This follows from the draft general government budget for 2025 to 2027, which was submitted by the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic to Monday's (14/10) meeting of the Economic and Social Council (ESC) of the Slovak Republic. Expenditures worth €1.216 billion were budgeted for 2024.
Expenditures intended for co-financing programs from the state budget are budgeted at the level of EUR 140 million, state budget funds for agriculture in the field of agriculture in the amount of EUR 275 million."The main financial support for agriculture is EU funds budgeted in the chapter of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic in the amount of EUR 584 million," the Ministry of Finance said in the proposal.
