| The adoption of consolidation measures in the area of public finances was necessary and necessary. However, the mistake of the government administration was that it adopted the measures late and they were written with a "hot pen". The proponents were also unable to clearly and openly communicate the fact that all measures will ultimately be paid for by the citizens of the Slovak Republic. This was stated by the Board of Directors of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SOPK) in a statement on the current economic situation.
"The only way to reduce the impact of such measures on the population and business is a systematic and long-term effort to slim down the state, streamline its activities, and reduce the costs of its operation. And the effort to save money must be complemented by pro-growth measures, the successful impact of which will ultimately bring additional resources to public finance revenues," the Chamber emphasized.
She reminded that in the past 23 years, Slovakia has been operating at a loss every year and its debt ratio has approached the limit of 60% of gross domestic product (GDP).odkaz na stránku |
