| Seniors have a new portal for searching for data on social services |

| Seniors can use the new free online portal ligapreseniorov.sk, which provides information on social services, pensions and financial contributions. The aim of the portal is to improve the availability of information for seniors. On Monday, the director of the civic association Vetulus, Jana Kováčová, which runs the League for Seniors platform, informed about this at a press conference.
"Seniors deserve easy access to information such as what they are entitled to, what types of social services exist and how and where they can apply for them," said Kováčová. She added that there are more than 1.5 million seniors in Slovakia, and many of them have trouble finding information about social, financial and health assistance from various sources.
She also specified that based on a survey conducted by the 2muse agency for a civic association in August last year, as many as 44% of people aged 60 to 75 consider information related to retirement to be the most important area for seniors
