Gazprom to deliver 42.4 million cubic meters of gas to Europe
Moscow, 13.11.2024
Russian gas producer Gazprom will supply 42.4 million cubic meters (m3) of gas to the European Union (EU) via Ukraine on Tuesday. Deliveries are going through the Sudzha gas station in Russia's Kursk region. TASR reports on the basis of a report by the TASS agency. At the same time, data from Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) showed that gas pumping from European underground storage facilities has slowed down slightly, but still significantly exceeds their filling. According to GIE data, on Sunday, November 10, 32 million cubic meters (m3) of gas were pumped into storage facilities in EU countries and the consumption amounted to 252 million m3. European natural gas storage facilities are currently 93.37% full. This is 1.1 percentage points more than the average on this date over five years, with 103.6 billion m3 of gas stored in them. Total liquefied natural gas (LNG) deliveries from terminals to the European gas transmission system were the lowest since October 2021 in August, but returned to growth in the autumn, reaching 8.77 billion m3 in October, up 11% from September. Facilities for the regasification of liquefied gas and its onward pumping into European pipelines are currently at 40% of their capacity. The average purchase price of gas in Europe was USD 456 per 1000 m3 in October and reached approximately USD 460 (EUR 431.88) in November. odkaz na stránku
