| The purchase price of milk in the Slovak Republic increased by 0.4% to 48 euros/100 kg in March 2025 |

| The average purchase price of raw cow's milk increased by 0.4% month-on-month in March 2025 to 48 euros/100 kilograms (kg). In a year-on-year comparison, the average purchase price of milk in March of this year was 12.1% higher. This is according to the current report of the Agricultural Market Information of Slovakia (ATIS).
The price of Q. class milk in March 2025 increased by 0.5% month-on-month to 48.07 euros/100 kg. The purchase price of 1. class milk in March of this year was 47.75 euros/100 kg and the price of substandard milk reached 40.02 euros/100 kg. The purchase price of Q. quality class milk increased by 11.8% year-on-year, the price of 1. class milk increased by 12.7%.
In March 2025, processors purchased a total of 73,858 tons of raw cow's milk from producers, which was 13.1% more than in February 2025. Q. class milk was purchased by 13.3% more month-on-month, totaling 63,069 tons. The total amount of purchased 1. quality class milk in March of this year was 10,569 tons and non-standard milk was 219 tons.
Year-on-year, processors purchased 0.6% more raw cow's milk in March 2025. Compared to the same period in 2024, the purchase of Q. class milk increased by 7.8%, the purchase of 1. quality class milk decreased by 26.7%.
In March purchases, Q-class milk accounted for 85.4%, 1-class milk for 14.3%, and substandard milk for 0.3%.
