Green diesel 2025 |
Bratislava, 27.08.2025 |
 |
The Agricultural Paying Agency (PPA) has opened the Green Diesel 2025 call, under which farmers will receive a refund of part of the excise duty on mineral oils. Farmers will thus share 30 million euros. The call is open until September 26, PPA informed on Tuesday. "Farmers submit applications in the ITMS2014+ system, in which they must be registered. We do not recommend leaving registration or the actual submission of the application until the last minute. We will administer the applications continuously and farmers can expect the money in their accounts by the end of November. We expect again an increased interest in this type of support. Last year, we supported nearly 3000 farmers," said PPA Director General Marek Èepko. The Green Diesel state aid measure has been in operation since 2019. The purpose of providing this aid is to reimburse part of the excise duty on mineral oils. The subsidy is calculated based on the standardized fuel consumption per hectare of a specific agricultural crop and per livestock unit of farm animals. The list of eligible crops for the field crop sector grows every year. This year, for example, common salad chicory, aromatic leaf celery, broccoli with under-sowing, and zucchini have been added. Support for growers of medicinal plants has also expanded. For instance, the list now includes common rapeseed, common comfrey, and common ironwort, as reported by the Agricultural Payment Agency (PPA)."I am really glad that after many years, support for the agricultural sector is a priority for the government and that we fulfill what we promise. Proof of this is that this year we have allocated the same amount of 30 million euros in the budget for farmers as in previous years," added the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, Richard Takáè (Smer-SD).odkaz na stránku |
