| The decline in manufacturing activity in the Czech Republic accelerated in September. |
| Prag, 02.10.2025 |
 |
| The decline in manufacturing activity in the Czech Republic deepened last month. The reason was a renewed weakening of new orders. TASR reports this based on an RTTNews report.
The S&P Global Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for the Czech manufacturing sector fell to 49.2 points in September from 49.4 points in August. The index remains below the 50-point threshold that separates contraction from expansion.
New orders recorded their first drop in four months, with export orders falling the most since May due to weak demand in key European export markets. As a result, companies experienced a decline in production for the second consecutive month.
Employment and input purchases also deteriorated again, as weak demand led companies to reduce spending.odkaz na stránku |
