| Almost half of EU adults experienced financial difficulties in the past year.
TASR informs about this based on the report of the DPA agency, which refers to data from the European Commission (EC).When asked about financial obligations, 48% of respondents said they were worried or very worried about being able to pay their bills in the next six months.71% of respondents took measures to reduce personal consumption in connection with rising energy prices.The survey was conducted on behalf of the Commission by the Ipsos agency.Data collection took place from October 18 to December 4, 2022. The research was conducted by telephone on a representative sample of residents over 18 years of age in each of the 27 EU member states, as well as in Iceland and Norway.
