| The time shift causes problems in the financial markets |

| "In some areas, the time shift may still have some benefits, but there are certainly fewer of them than in the past and they probably no longer outweigh the disadvantages of the time shift. In addition to the benefits, however, the time change also brings several negative impacts on energy consumption, the economy and people's health," said Vranka.
According to the analyst, the positive effects are especially visible when the time shifts from winter to summer. These include, for example, the fact that during longer evenings, more money flows into the economy in the field of tourism, restaurant services and leisure activities. When the light is longer in the summer, people spend time away from home, and this is positive for the economy, the expert added.
The positive impact on certain sectors should also be measurable in the case of winter time. This is the case, for example, in agriculture, where daylight is required.
