Orbán signs wage agreement for the next three years

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán signed a wage agreement for the next three years on Monday in the presence of representatives of the government, employers' unions and trade unions. Referring to the index.hu server, the TASR correspondent in Budapest informs about this. In 2025, the guaranteed minimum wage will increase by seven percent and the minimum wage by nine percent. The minimum wage will be increased by 13 percent in 2026 and by another 14 percent in 2027. A guaranteed minimum wage that is higher than the minimum wage must be paid by the employer if the position requires at least secondary education. "We have a valid agreement!" Orbán announced on social media. The agreement on wages for the next three years was signed at a permanent consultative forum of the private sector and the government. The minimum wage in Hungary has risen by 15% to 266,800 forints (707 euros) with effect from December 2023. odkaz na stránku
