Gabriel Machlica has become the new director of the Institute of Financial Policy

The Institute of Financial Policy (IFP) of the Ministry of Finance (MF) of the Slovak Republic has a new director. This position will be temporarily held by Gabriel Machlica, who replaced the current director Ján Remeta. He returns to his original position as deputy director. On Thursday, the Ministry of Finance informed about this on its website. Machlica is an economist who has worked for the last ten years at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. Most recently, he worked as a senior economist responsible for Austria and Turkey. He joined the OECD in 2014 and held a number of positions in the economics department, including economist for the United Kingdom, Hungary, Israel, Slovakia, Brazil, Belgium and Portugal, where he focused on economic policy evaluation, macroeconomic analysis and forecasting. The new head of the IFP already has experience from working at the Ministry of Finance, where he previously worked in management positions at the Institute of Financial Policy (IFP) and the Value for Money Department (ÚHP).odkaz na stránku
