| Which country has the strongest passport? |

|
| Singapore offers its passport holders the greatest freedom when traveling abroad, as this year they can reach 195 countries without a visa. According to the London-based consulting company Henley & Partners, it therefore ranks first in the ranking of the most powerful passports, TASR reports.
The Japanese passport allows visa-free access to 193 countries. Third place belongs to passport holders of Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and South Korea, and arrival in 192 countries without a visa.
Slovakia has 11th place (together with Croatia and Iceland) and visa-free travel to 184 countries. In 2022, the Slovak passport allowed visa-free travel to 182 countries. Henley & Partners also evaluates obtaining a visa only after arriving in the country as visa-free travel.

In fourth place are Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway (191) and in fifth place are Belgium, New Zealand, Portugal, Switzerland and the United Kingdom (190). In sixth place are Greece and Australia (189) and in seventh place are Canada, Poland and Malta (188). In eighth place are Hungary and the Czech Republic (187), in ninth place are Estonia and the United States (186) and in tenth place are Lithuania, Latvia, Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates (185).
At the opposite end of the ranking, the weakest "visa-free" passport is Afghanistan (26), ahead of Syria (27), Iraq (31), Yemen and Pakistan (33) and Somalia (35).
Henley & Partners uses data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to update the ranking. It evaluates 199 countries and 227 different travel destinations within the framework of global mobility.
