| The return to expansion in the eurozone and especially in Germany is encouraging news for Slovakia. This was stated in a recent report by analysts of the Institute for Financial Policy (IFP).
"The revival of our main trading partners and their industrial production would bring positive effects for domestic industry," the institute said.
However, the uncertainty of further developments is enormous, according to the IFP. "The structural problems that the German economy has faced in recent years will not disappear so easily. Regaining lost competitiveness on international markets and restoring economic growth will also require the implementation of meaningful economic and political reforms," the institute's analysts emphasized.
"Although the trade wars did not escalate in the first days of the new US president's mandate, the situation may change dynamically. Germany, with its export-oriented industry, may be hit hard. Despite the good news, the risks persist," the IFP added.odkaz na stránku |
