The Prime Minister Fico traveled to visit Brazil,

Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) has traveled to Brazil, where, at the invitation of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, he will pay an official visit to the country for several days. The main goal of the trip is to deepen Slovak-Brazilian relations and mutual economic cooperation. This will be the first visit by a Slovak Prime Minister to Brazil and the South American region in history. The Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic will discuss the development of economic exchange between the two countries with the President of Brazil. Several bilateral agreements are to be signed during the meeting of the Slovak delegation with members of the Brazilian government, for example on the prevention of double taxation.In Sao Paulo, Brazil, Fico, together with Economy Minister Denisa Saková (Hlas-SD), will open a business forum, which will also be attended by representatives of Slovak companies. The event is being prepared by the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) in cooperation with the Brazilian Trade Federation FIESP. The delegation led by the Prime Minister is due to return to Slovakia on Thursday (December 12). Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Robert Kaliňák (Smer-SD), Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Denisa Saková (Hlas-SD) and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Juraj Blanár (Smer-SD) also travelled to Brazil on a working visit with the Prime Minister. odkaz na stránku
