| The price of milk in Slovakia increased by 0.4% in August to 49.68 euros/100 kg |

| The average purchase price of raw cow's milk in the Slovak Republic increased by 0.4% month-on-month to 49.68 euros/100 kg in August 2025. In a year-on-year comparison, the average purchase price of milk in August was 18.7% higher. This is according to the current report of the Agrarian Market Information of Slovakia.
The price of Q. class milk in August 2025 increased by 0.2% month-on-month to 49.88 euros/100 kg. The purchase price of 1. class milk in August this year was 49.45 euros/100 kg and the price of substandard milk reached 40.56 euros/100 kg. The purchase price of Q. quality class milk increased by 18.6% year-on-year.
In August 2025, processors purchased a total of 66,370 tons of raw cow's milk from producers, which was 0.4% less than in August 2024. Q. class milk was purchased by 3.2% more month-on-month, totaling 51,657 tons. Year-on-year, processors purchased 0.2% more raw cow's milk in August 2025. Compared to the same period in 2024, the purchase of Q. class milk increased by 21.7%.
The total amount of purchased 1st quality class milk in August of this year was 13,995 tons and 718 tons of substandard milk. Q. class milk accounted for 77.8% of the August purchase, 1st class milk 21.1% and substandard milk 1.1%.odkaz na stránku |
