| Agriculture achieved a pre-tax profit of 181.4 million euros last year. |

| According to preliminary data, agriculture achieved a positive operating result before taxation of 181.4 million euros last year. Compared to the previous year, the operating result increased by 15.8% and was mainly influenced by a record volume of subsidies paid to agricultural entities. This was stated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MPRV) of the Slovak Republic in the so-called green report for 2024."Subsidies and grants account for a significant portion of agricultural enterprises' revenues; without them, most businesses would be unprofitable. The total volume of financial support for Slovak agriculture increased year-on-year by 66.4% to a value of 1.345 billion euros. The share of total subsidies in agricultural revenues increased year-on-year to 31%, with direct payments accounting for 14%," specified the agro ministry in the report.Total agricultural revenues in 2024 increased year-on-year by 6.9% to 4.376 billion euros.
